Northern Peru
Paita, Colán and Tierra Colorada

We have privileged access to Peru's main marine resources and unique assets that are strategically located and hard to replicate. This integration allows us to make the most of every species and deliver high-quality products to markets worldwide, building long-term relationships based on trust, consistency and compliance.
It all started in 1995, when our passion for the sea led us to trade fishmeal. Since then, Oceano Seafood has become a diversified company with production units strategically located along the Peruvian coast.
These unique facilities allow us to transform every resource into a wide range of value-added products and to build a diverse portfolio of fresh, frozen and processed products for demanding markets worldwide.
We operate our own docks and freezing plants from Paita in the north to Matarani in the south. This strategic presence gives us privileged, constant access to raw material and lets us respond with agility, consistency and quality, backed by a team of industry experts.
Deliver diversified, high-quality Peruvian seafood to the world through a sustainable, vertically integrated operation.
Be the reference partner for premium Peruvian seafood, recognized for reliability, traceability and innovation.
Respect for the sea, long-term partnerships, integrity, and continuous innovation across the value chain.

Docks strategically located next to our plants, ideal for serving the national fishing fleet — from Paita in the north to Matarani in the south.

We operate 4 of our own plants plus exclusive access to 3 additional plants, for a total freezing capacity of 800 metric tons per day — allowing us to operate year-round and follow the fishery wherever it is.

Made with Artisanal Intelligence
Peruvian fishing is, in essence, artisanal. Behind every catch lies the accumulated knowledge of fishermen who understand the sea, recognize its cycles and know where to find each resource. That is where our AI comes from: Artisanal Intelligence.
At Oceano Seafood we combine that knowledge at origin with the experience of our experts, more than 30 years of track record, applied technology and a fully integrated industrial operation. That is how we identify the greatest potential of each species, define the right process and turn it into high-value products for the world's most demanding markets.
Our Artisanal Intelligence allows us to use every resource responsibly, efficiently and traceably, respecting its nature and maximizing its value.
Intelligence to understand the resource. Experience to transform it.
In 2021 we established our Sustainability Committee, comprised of top management and key members of each business unit. Its objective: monitor and develop initiatives, evaluate opportunities and involve the strategic apex in sustainability decision making.
By 2026 we aim to align our strategy with ESG standards and consolidate sustainable competitiveness across our entire value chain.
Provide Peruvians and other countries with a healthier and more sustainable protein source.
SDGs 2, 3, 14
Improve the lives of those in the 3 regions where we operate. Provide ethical and safe work.
SDGs 5, 8
Improve fisheries management and fishing efficiency. Prioritize responsible sourcing and traceability.
SDG 14
Ensure sustainable operations through innovative technologies and processes to minimize our environmental impact.
SDGs 12, 13
In partnership with the Fisheries Engineering Faculty of Universidad Nacional de Piura, we created the Sustainable Artisanal Fishing course: the first university-certified program designed for those who know the sea by heart but had never had the chance to complement that knowledge with higher education.
Strengthening their leadership and adding a technical perspective to years of experience at sea. Because sustainable fishing is built from the sea upward, together with those who live it every day.
